Clockwork
Description: Clockwork is a turn-based heist puzzle where you’re a thief cracking into a guarded vault — but the clock only advances when you move (or choose to wait). Guards run fixed patrols and laser grids blink on a set rhythm, so nothing is random. Every vault is a solvable puzzle you can plan out completely before committing to a move.
The core mechanic: waiting is a real move. You use it to let patrols pass, let lasers cycle off, and time your approach through the gaps. There’s a look-ahead slider that lets you scrub forward in time and scout exactly where every guard and laser will be, so you can build a solution in your head before executing it.
There’s one ranked daily heist — same vault for everyone each day, one attempt, shared leaderboard. Kind of a Wordle-style daily but for a stealth puzzle.
Built solo as a single HTML file (Three.js + a small Supabase backend for the leaderboard). Free, no install, plays on phone and desktop. I’m happy to nerd out on how it works. Mostly I want to know: is the core loop fun, and where does it feel confusing or too easy/hard?
